Learning Style Assessment

How does your child learn?

If your child insists on listening to music while studying or cannot sit quietly to do their assignments or has heaps of doodles in their notes, take heart. Although appearing as if they are not taking their work seriously, they are  in fact revealing what their learning styles are.

The Three Basic Learning Styles
The three basic learning styles are visual, auditory and kinaesthetic. People learn and take in information through what they see, hear or do. There is no right or wrong style and while most people use a combination of styles, they exhibit a preference for one of the approaches.
With this powerful information you can give your child a head start with their studies both at home and at school

The learning styles report allows you to know your child's strongest perceptual strength, the best time of day to study and the most effective environment for your child to learn. Teachers can also use the report to provide successful learning within school.

Depending on the age of the child the assessment is conducted over 3 to 5 sessions, each lasting 15 minutes and can be completed on the pc at home or with MAST. From the results MAST will provide a report informing you of your child's preferred learning style and environment.

Knowing how your child learns can help them to study and remember information effectively. The assessment is available for any child, teenager and young adult aged 7 years and above.

Please see fees for cost of assessment.
