For the past 9 years I have lectured young people with Learning Differences and Difficulties (LDD) including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, ADD, Dyspraxia, and Aspergers Syndrome, I also taught learners with Social, Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties (SEBD).
Key responsibilities when teaching involved undertaking initial assessments to determine appropriate learning programmes and support needs. Devising individual learning agreements for learners needs and contributing to the curriculum development for the studies in the Supported Learning Area. My experience also involved researching and introducing qualifications to suit the learner’s needs. Devising and introducing course delivery for learners with learning difficulties and creating an effective learning environment for young people with SEBD and LDD.
Throughout this time I completed my Level 5 Post Graduate Certificate in Education and completed numerous training programs.
